Fat Eddie's is a very popular spot off of Summers Lake in WV. They have great hot dogs and several ice cream choices. Picnic tables are available for sitting.It is a hopping place.

Always super busy; if you have the time it is so worth the wait. Can be a little expensive for a burger and ice cream stand.

We come here every year when we go on vacation at Battle Run

Only place in 3 counties or more that has AFFORDABLE soft-serve ice cream.

The storms are awesome, the brownie sundae was amazing and they gave our puppy a free ice cream treat with our order. Recommended from an acquaintance at the campground we are staying at stating it is a must after climbing and swimming. He wasn't exaggerating! It was perfect for the hot day filled with activity! Had no idea they served hot foods as well (hot dogs, rings, fries, etc), which is also a plus to hold you over until dinner.

Fat Eddie's At The Dam has great soft serve ice cream. You can get just about any flavor you want and the prices are very reasonable. Check them out when your in the area.

In the mountains and hollows of West Virginia, here's an incredible place to enjoy a reasonably priced soft-served ice cream cone (I love the chocolate/vanilla swirl!!!) while politely enjoying the brief company of strangers. Fast Eddie's has prettily-painted picnic tables, some below the sky and some tucked away out of the weather when the weather is a little rainy. Their faithful customers are almost religiously devoted, coming to Fast Eddie's to share communal conversation and food, as if on a pilgrimage. Highly recommended for the devout believers and followers of roadside food and fare.

fast, delicious, fair prices....recommend the "storms"...some blizzard imitations but the unique ones like tropical or bahama mama are a must.... if you are near summersville or fayetteville and dont make the short drive you missd out!!!!!!

Very good soft serve ice cream. We had been told it was "the best" but I didn't see much difference from other places I've been.

I have been going there since I was a kid and the ice cream is very good. it is a good place for a hangout, a family outing, or even a date.

They were quick for how busy they always are. People were friendly and the food was good :) I recommend the hot dog

They are the greatest place to eat out at the lake area. You can either eat there or go to one of the parks or to the lake. I don't know of anybody that has ever complained of Fat Eddies. Oh wait! 😂 that's right, you might have to wait in line because so many people want their food and ice cream.

They say chili we say sauce like their sauce but crazy about the coast but I love love love that Toasted Bun

Food options are okay but let's be real you come here for the ice-cream which is delicious. Truly enjoyed both the storm and shakes. Do try the 'German Chocolate' flavor if you're a chocolate lover. Can get a little busy over the weekend so be prepared to wait in a queue. They do have decent parking space so if you're unable to find a spot indoors, you can always enjoy that swirl in your car.

Delicious ice cream! We swung by for a treat after dinner, enjoyed the experience.The staff were friendly and helpful at answering our questions.They were fast and got us our treats really quickly.Will be back! Highly recommend.
